Synopsis
Scene is the classroom of a special school in Berlin. Yannik is the boss of the class 7a. Yousuf and Marcel have him rather as a friend than as an enemy, perhaps otherwise it would go them like Emanuel. Sitting in a corner unwanted and lonely, he gets beaten up often enough. But Emanuel puts all offences and violations with frightening gentleness away. All in one boat, the roles are firmly distributed. Then the dedicated teacher brings with children rights, democracy and ethics completely new topics into the classroom. And Emanuel suspects a chance in getting rid of his stuck role.

Directors Biography
Ayla Gottschlich, born in 1982, Berlin. After her High School Diploma she worked two years in several film productions in Berlin and shot her first documentary. From 2004 till 2010 she studied directing at the Filmakademie Baden-WĂĽrttemberg and received her diploma with the documentary 'Candidates'.
