Synopsis The film deals with the rich and dynamic career of the Sarajevo band Plavi orkestar (The Blue Orchestra). This is the story of one generation that marked our time and space in a very specific way - a positive story of the power and perseverance of talent which, led by passion and potential, finds its way in even the most complicated of circumstances. The band frontman Saša and the band meet numerous celebrities of the times when the band developed, fell down and rose again. The film also includes a number of publicly unknown individuals who impacted the band in a more private, intimate way.

Directors Biography Pjer Žalica obtained his degree from the Sarajevo Academy of Performing Arts, where he now teaches. He has received numerous awards at international festivals. He and Ademir Kenoviæ are the co-authors of the first Bosnian post-war film, 'Perfect Circle' (1997). He directed the short film 'The End of Unpleasantness' (1998), shown on numerous international festivals (Cannes, Montreal, London, Sydney, München, Nice, Biarritz, Rome, Rotterdam, Göteborg, Sarajevo), long feature films 'Days and Hours' (2004) and 'Fuse' (2003), and documentary films 'Mostar Sevdah Reunion' (2000), 'Children Like Any Other' (1995), 'MGM – Sarajevo' (1994), 'Godot Sarajevo' (1993), 'School of Military Skills' (1993) and 'The Man Called Boat' (1992).
