Synopsis
Ankara Castle has guarded the city for centuries and has hosted several civilizations at various periods of history. Today, it's function has changed and so have it's rulers.

Directors Biography
Andrei Tãnase studied cinema at UNATC, Bucharest and works as a freelance screenwriter/director. One of his recent short films, 'Mc Russia' had its international premiere at the Semaine de la Critique section, in Cannes Film Festival in 2009.
Vlad Ilicevici is a graduate of the National Film School in Bucharest. He has directed several short films focused on children and animals, the beings he cherishes the most: 'Kings of the Castle' or 'Svenja & the Others'. He has co-directed (with Phillip Vogt) 'Ende Neu', a documentary about Einsturzende Neubauten, one of the most important, innovative and trendsetting German rock bands of the last 3 decades. As a member of the Bucharest-based ESTE’N'EST association, Vlad is one of the three leaders of the ANIM’EST International Animation Film Festival in Bucharest.
