The idea for this omnibus was born when Maribor was proclaimed the European Capital of Culture for 2012. The omnibus consists of five short films about losing virginity. Their authors are acclaimed filmmakers from Croatia and its neighboring countries (Hungary, Italy, Austria and Slovenia). It deals with loss of virginity from a wider angle – it is something that will change the protagonists of these stories and their attitudes in life.

This omnibus is an attempt to establish sustainable cooperation in the region.
It will be shot in Maribor and its outskirts in summer 2012. It will premiere at the end of the year of European Capital of Culture 2012 – on 21 December.

The third working session of the 'loss-of-virginity' omnibus crew will take place in Zagreb during the 9th Zagreb Film Festival.
